Azulsouk faucets and showers are cast and hammered from solid, unlacquered brass — no plating, no clear coat, nothing between the metal and your hand. Every piece is built to darken, warm, and change with the water that runs through it.
A finish that's applied is a finish that fails.
Most fixtures are dipped or sprayed with a clear lacquer to hold their factory shine. It works for a while — then it chips at the edges, yellows in the sun, and peels around the handle where your hand actually touches it. Once that happens, there's no fixing it, only replacing it.
We skip that step. Azulsouk brass leaves the workshop bare, so the oils on your hands, the minerals in your water, and the air in your bathroom can do what they've always done to raw metal: change it, slowly, into something that belongs to your home specifically.
Plated brass is preserved. Ours is allowed to live.

Cast
Solid brass is melted and poured into sand molds by hand — never a hollow shell, never a zinc core wearing a brass skin.
Forge
Each casting is hand-hammered to compress the grain of the metal and set its final form, the way a blacksmith works a blade.
Hand-finish
Filed, sanded, and polished by a single craftsperson from start to finish, so every faucet carries one maker's touch, not an assembly line's.
Inspect
Checked by hand for weight, flow, and finish before it ever leaves the workshop. No lacquer is applied at any point — that's not a step we skipped, it's the whole point.
What "solid brass" actually means here.
A lot of fixtures are labeled "brass" while being mostly zinc or plastic underneath a thin brass-colored plate. Ours aren't. Every Azulsouk piece is brass the whole way through, cast in small batches and finished entirely by hand.
